Myspace Sports is Becoming More Popular

The National Hockey League (NHL) is a professional sports organization made up of ice hockey teams in Canada and the United States. The French name for the NHL is Ligue Nationale de Hockey (LNH). It is the most exciting professional ice hockey league in the world, and one of the top major professional sports leagues in North America. Currently the 2006-07 season has begun and it is a great time for you to customize your site by adding are free NHL Myspace Sports Layouts too your site.

Myspace sports is increasing in popularity and fans of the NHL have had a lot to do with it.  They have used free myspace layouts and backgrounds to design sites that pay homage to their favorite teams. The league is divided into two conferences, each having three divisions of teams.  The NHL was founded in 1917 in Montreal, Quebec with only five teams. Through a series of expansions and restructuring the league is now represented by 30 teams, of which 24 teams are in the United States.

 

Professional Hockey is as high an impact sport as extreme moutain sports and takes a lot of heart, skill and precision to play on this level. Tenacity is very important attribute and the league showed plenty that after a labour dispute led to the cancellation of the entire season during 2004-05. Since then the NHL has staged a very successful come back in 2005-06 regular season and 06 Stanley Cup Playoffs. 

 

Due to its origins in Canada, a good majority of players in the National Hockey League are Canadians.  But similar to the growth and appeal that myspace.com has experienced the league has watched as close to half of its players are originating from the United States and Eastern Europe.  This will only continue to help and add to the over all appeal and fan support of professional hockey.  And why not, hockey by all accounts is one awesome and fun high intensity sport and because of this the hockey community fan base will look to continue its growth just as my space will.
